"I have finished the race ..."

I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.

  1. Thankful for your life and for the influence you had on so many people. May God comfort and bless each of the family members. Heaven has just become a little sweeter! And more beautiful! A precious precious lady.

Her pain is finally over; she will never have to live with cancer, chemo or radiation again. Heaven is a much more beautiful place because she is there now. Our Beverly was an angel on earth, and now she is singing with the angels. I hope everyone will pray for John. They were the most devoted couple ever. Even in his weakened condition, he was right there for her in death, just as he'd always been in life. They are a beautiful story of what God meant for marriage to be. Each of them and both of them taught me so much of what God intends for us to be in this life.
I love you Bev, and I'll see you when I get to heaven.

  3. Our sweet Beverly is with our Lord now and free of that "beast" as she called cancer. My children had Beverly in school at Goodpasture, and I was in 2 different care groups with she and John. She had me over to her house for other dinners as well. She was such a social person, always happy, a good cook, a wonderful gardener, an artist and so many talents I can't name them all. She was full of energy and life. I love you Bev as so many others do and will miss you very much. My prayers are with John and your family.
